two, two, two days in one!

Ok, so I got a little behind.
So much eating, so little time.
Let's go back to Tuesday
morning and work our way
to today. I had a bowl of cereal,
I believe, to start: material
evidence that I like my carbs
in the am, too. It takes its barbs,
that fuel does. For lunch I had
the best sandwhich ever. Scads
of salami, tomatoes, cheese,
spinach, red peppers, and mustard (please!).
A snack of yogurt and off I went,
to do a track workout: time well spent
chasing the clock 200m at a time.
When it was all done, I set out to climb
the hill up Cote-des-Neiges to see
my friend Kris who had nothing for me
except cold chicken and blueberry
strudel (2). Lemonade and Bruny's
special protein mix were for me to dig
into (guess who's the guinea pig
when Xistence makes a new product?).
Not the most complete or thought out
nutritional day, I admit, but look out
tomorrow, because I went shopping!
No longer will you see this cat hopping
around like a starving poet in his low,
dry garret. I bought steak and potatoes
(ok no spuds, but I had to make it rhyme)
and enough fruit and veg to fill my fridge for a time.
Wednesday I ate cereal again in the morning,
which may make it seem like my meal times are boring,
but I really like cereal. After my run
I finished the last of my greens, one
scoop was all that was left, so I mixed
it with Bruny's special formula from X.
At lunch I had the same sandwich as before,
it's the kind of thing I never bore
of. Dinner was a little haphazard and sketch,
I had a peach and some yogurt before I left
to go coaching the folks in Club Boreal,
but at the station I picked up a Burger Royal
and ate it on the train to Pierrefonds and the hill
where they train and mutter they'd like to kill
their poor coach who watches while they take a beating:
the kid is just sitting there laughing and eating!
No, they find I'm nice, I think, or Claudine
wouldn't have baked some banana bread-thing
special for me. I ate a bit of that, and a granola
bar, and an orange given to me by an old fella
who's name I don't know, but who does what I
tell him: "hey, you, run up that hill, I don't care if you die!"
I jest! I'm kidding! It's only a joke. I would never
endanger the lives of my charges. If ever
it came to a dangerous situation, I'd take
the utmost precaution: I'd offer them cake.
Oh, and I can't forget: I also had grapes.

Nice work! Since we eat food everyday, it's interesting to find new ways to "report" it!
