Day 3 of food
I had a bagel with peanut butter and jam for breakfast. For those begging for pictures, this is what a bagel looks like when it is sliced and has peanut butter on it. You'll have to imagine the jam.
Post tempo run I had Eload and Recup X, and then I made some Green Iced tea. And a banana.
Next, for lunch, a light lunch because it is so hot, a bagel (that staple food) and some hummus. There was a peach after that, and yogurt as I watched Le Gaz de Paris Golden League (they have track and field on TV now, apparently).
For dinner, two chicken/veggie burgers (just because they are easier to cook than real chicken or real burgers) on bagels (of course) with tomato and some condiments. For dessert, some snacking on some mixed nuts and raisins.
Ok, lest anyone think that these volumes of food are in any way impressive--they're not. I am like a four-hour marathoner to this man: Takeru Kobayashi. He is the Paula Radcliffe of eating. Nothing can stop him. Nothing. Woe to the fool who challenges him. Seriously.

Thank you!! That hot dog guy had something like 53 3/4 hot dogs in 12 minutes. I'd say that's even better than K. Bekele's 12:37.35 5000m WR.
What's with the food challenges, the iceman came up with a website for a hot-dog eating contest today.
Love the pics, good response to Chris' complaint! But I think he meant that it would be nice to see pics of the smoked meat sandwich and Anita's fries...
Wonder if he tapered and carbo-un-loaded...
I beg to differ about Bekele's WR.
Ya, pics of the smoked meet would be nice. Something needs to satisfy that occular salivary gland fetish.
